Dev & Sara
A proposal on the seventh bridge
Shot from ninety metres with a 400mm while pretending to photograph the water. She had no idea until the frames arrived two days later.
The yes · Chennai
The shortest ceremony of the season, and the one nobody rehearses.
The approach
Engagements move fast. A ring ceremony can be over in ninety seconds, and a surprise proposal in fifteen. Both need a photographer already in position, already exposed for the light, already invisible.
For proposals we work with you in advance on sightlines and timing, then shoot from distance so the moment stays yours. For ring ceremonies we cover the full event and stay on for family portraits while everyone is still dressed.

Two families, one long table
A ring ceremony that turned into a four-hour lunch. We stayed for all of it, and the best portrait of the day happened at dessert.
Rooftop, forty minutes after sunset
They wanted no ceremony at all — just the two of them, a rooftop and the blue hour. We were done in forty minutes.
Questions
The questions we are asked most often about this kind of work in Chennai. Anything else, just ask.
Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. We scout the spot beforehand, agree a signal with you, and shoot from a natural distance with long glass so nothing gives the plan away.
The standard booking covers four hours, which comfortably holds the ceremony, portraits and the start of the celebration. Extra hours can be added at any point on the day.
A preview set reaches you within 48 hours, cropped for both feed and story, so you can announce before the news travels on its own.
Next step
Send the date and the place. You will get availability and an itemised quote from the photographer who would shoot it.
