She slept for exactly one stretch of forty minutes and we made all of it count. The rest of the session belongs to her parents' hands.

Newborn sessions run on the baby. We block three hours for roughly ninety minutes of photography, and we stop for every feed, change and settle without a word about the clock.
Safety first, always — no unsupported poses, no props a baby cannot be safely placed in, and a warm room throughout. Most of our newborn work happens at home, where everything the baby needs is already in the building.

Twins double everything except the available time. We photographed them separately first, together second, and finished before either changed their mind.

The six-month milestone is the easiest session in photography. They can sit, they cannot yet crawl away, and they find absolutely everything funny.

About baby & newborn photography
The questions we are asked most often about this kind of work in Chennai. Anything else, just ask.
Days five to fifteen give the sleepiest, curliest newborn frames. Book during pregnancy with an approximate due date and we hold a flexible two-week window around it.
Only when it is done properly. We use supported poses exclusively, keep a parent within arm's reach at all times, and never place a baby in anything they could not be safely lifted out of.
At home, for a newborn. Everything the baby needs is already there, the room is already the right temperature, and nobody has to travel with a two-week-old.
