A fifth birthday with more children than the garden was designed for. Shot almost entirely at knee height, which is where it was happening.

One candle-lit private room and a genuinely successful surprise. Shot wide open at high ISO, and the grain earns its place.

Three hours covers almost every party: an hour before guests for decor and setup, then straight through arrivals, games and cake.
Yes — milestone birthdays, surprise parties and dinners. Low-light venues are entirely normal for us and are handled without blasting the room with flash.
A short studio setup for a first birthday: clean backdrop, a cake, and a baby given full permission. It runs about an hour and we bring a change of towels.
